Shadle Park has gone 9-1 against Lewis & Clark recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Shadle Park is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They lost 20-6 to Central Valley.
Abby Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenzie Duncan, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lewis & Clark). Everything went their way against Gonzaga Prep two weeks ago as they made off with a 17-3 win. The Tigers not only won two weeks ago, but they posted their biggest win since April 25, 2024.
Lucy Piskel tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits.
On the hitting side, Lewis & Clark got a massive performance out of Vienna Klein, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kara Goetz, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

The victory made it two in a row for Lewis & Clark and bumps their season record up to 2-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Shadle Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Shadle Park has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .483. However, it's not like Lewis & Clark struggles in that department as they've averaged .465. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Shadle Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Lewis & Clark in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 18-16. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
