Johnston faced Lincoln in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Panthers walked away with  a   36-28  win over the Lions. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Johnston's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Yadier Grullon, who picked up 137 receiving yards and one  TD. Grullon's longest reception was for an incredible 85 yards. Another passer making a difference was  Ethan Archambeault, who threw for 178 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only 12 passes.
Johnston's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lincoln,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johnston will face off against East Greenwich at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Lincoln, they will take on Coventry at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
