The Glenwood Titans have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were dealt a 54-20 loss at the hands of Lincoln on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Glenwood has scored all season.
Glenwood's loss came despite strong showings from Macy Martynowski and Makenna Yeager. Martynowski scored nine points along with five rebounds, while Yeager scored seven points. Those five rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.
Glenwood's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-4. As for Lincoln, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.
Glenwood will be playing at home against Normal West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Normal West will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while Glenwood is ranked 94th). As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against Normal Community at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Normal Community is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
