Bangor couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 82-45 loss at the hands of Portland on Friday.
Meanwhile, Brewer lost to Hampden at home by a decisive 64-49 margin on Friday.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Charlie Brydges, who scored 17 points. Logan Littlefield was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Bangor's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Brewer, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-1.
Bangor lost to Brewer on the road by a decisive 64-50 margin in their previous meeting back in February. Can Bangor avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
