The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Orange, who took down 97th ranked East Orange Campus, 31-30.
Seton Hall Prep extended the longest winning streak in Super Essex - American this week by beating Nutley, 41-19. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Kenny Rosario was the best wideout in the league this week as Montclair defeated Livingston. Rosario racked up four receptions for 135 yards. Clarence Sears helped Montclair's passing attack out by catching three balls for 44 yards.
Nate Crutchfield provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Mounties topped the Lancers. He completed eight passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for six yards.
Michael Million was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 158 yards as Montclair beat Livingston. Teammate Scott Walker added to the ground attack by rushing for 57 yards.
Peter Burkly threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns. He was five-eight with one interceptions.
Seton Hall Prep's Burkly and Clay Austin have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Super Essex - American in both passing and receiving yards. Burkly has thrown for 597 yards this season, while Austin, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 12 catches for 294 yards. John Fiore's team's Million leads the league in rushing yards with 741.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when John Finnegan's team takes on the Mountaineers. The Pirates are currently in first, while West Orange is in fifth.
John Jacob's team moved up to 139 from 178 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 31-30 win over the Jaguars helped the Mountaineers improve their standing.
