The Babylon Panthers lost against the West Islip Lions back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Babylon lost to West Islip at home by a decisive 47-29 margin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Babylon in their matchups with West Islip: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the loss, Babylon still got an impressive performance from Giavanna Randazzo, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Randazzo has scored all season.
Babylon's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for West Islip, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Babylon will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Centereach at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Islip does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
