Pierce extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Josie Painter. The Bluejays blew past the West Point-Beemer Cadets 3-0 on Monday with plenty of help from Painter, who had 14 digs and four assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-16, 25-15.
Pierce's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for West Point-Beemer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-20 record this season.
