Perkiomen Valley came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Pottstown Trojans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Chase Kelly and Chris Horgan dominated on the mound. Kelly tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits, while Horgan pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave Horgan a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
At the plate, Aidan Autovino was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Ryan King also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
