The Bonneville Lakers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. The matchup between Bonneville and Northridge wasn't particularly close, with Bonneville falling 63-46. If Bonneville hoped to take revenge for the 47-45 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Several Lakers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zac Combe, who scored 18 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Tesch, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Bonneville dropped their record down to 6-10 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Northridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonneville will take on Woods Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Woods Cross is ranked 95th, while Bonneville is ranked 78th). As for Northridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Clearfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clearfield is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
