If Manhattan Eagles were hoping to take revenge for the 24-66 loss against Sunrise Christian Academy the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Manhattan Eagles off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Sunrise Christian Academy a 1-0 record.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Manhattan Eagles will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against St. John's Military . As for Sunrise Christian Academy, they will face off against St. Mary's Academy.
