Basketball Recap: Model Secondary School for the Deaf Takes a Loss

Model Secondary School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Parkside Eagles and fell 83-29. Model Secondary School for the Deaf was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-14.

Leading Parkside to victory were Colby Murphy and Daiquan Smith. Murphy posted 24 points, while Smith scored 21 points. The game was Smith's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Scott, who had 13 points.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Parkside, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
