The Wake Prep Academy Guardians will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Oak Forest Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Wake Prep Academy can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They managed a 46-40 win over Woods Charter. The victory was just what Wake Prep Academy needed coming off of a 64-23 defeat in their prior match.
Chelsea Lange went supernova for Wake Prep Academy, scoring 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lange has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Langton, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Oak Forest stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard last Monday. They were the clear victor by a 59-37 margin over Hilltop Christian. Winning may never get old, but Oak Forest sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Wake Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Oak Forest, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
