Chester won the last time they faced CORE Butte and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Chester Volcanoes took down the CORE Butte Lynx 57-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Volcanoes.

Chester's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for CORE Butte, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Chester won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Westwood at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Chester has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for CORE Butte, they will venture away from home to square off against Redding Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Redding Christian will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something CORE Butte surely won't give up without a fight.
