After losing to the Calhoun Yellow Jackets the last time they met, the Harrison Hoyas decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Harrison was the clear victor by a 73-49 margin over Calhoun. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Harrison.
When it comes to explaining why Calhoun lost on Saturday, one person who can't be blamed is Emaree Winston. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jace Johns, who scored 8 points.
Harrison's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Calhoun, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Harrison will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kennesaw Mountain at 7:30 p.m. Calhoun will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Excel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th.
