Stivers School for the Arts lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Amaury Hawes, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Gavin Wright was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Stivers School for the Arts bumped their record down to 1-5 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points per game. As for Hilliard Bradley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stivers School for the Arts will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Columbus Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Hilliard Bradley, they will head out on the road to face off against Hilliard Davidson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
