The matchup between Swansea and Edisto on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Cougars. That seven goal margin sets a new team best for Swansea this season.

Their offense was hitting Edisto from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Jose Labastida Hernandez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Swansea's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three games. As for Edisto, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Swansea will square off against Powdersville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Edisto, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Charleston at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
