After a string of three wins, Delcambre's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against the New Iberia Yellowjackets, falling 23-1. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Delcambre saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rix Robin, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Delcambre's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for New Iberia, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delcambre will face off against West St. Mary at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Iberia, they will welcome Barbe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Barbe will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something New Iberia surely won't give up without a fight.
