On Saturday, Tuslaw earned a 41-34 win over the Comets. Given Tuslaw's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Comets are ranked 694th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Destiny Dulkoski, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Tuslaw's points. Another player making a difference was Emma Rowbotham, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Tuslaw has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Coventry, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuslaw will take on the Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
