The Royalton-Hartland Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Allegany-Limestone. Royalton-Hartland lost against Allegany-Limestone in their previous head to head back in January of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 76-54 score last time.
Royalton-Hartland's loss came despite strong showings from Dan Aquilina and Remington Albee. Aquilina dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds, while Albee scored 18 points along with six assists. The contest was Albee's third in a row with at least ten points. Sam Bruning was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Royalton-Hartland's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Allegany-Limestone, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Royalton-Hartland is on the road again on Friday and play against Wilson at 6:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Wilson and Royalton-Hartland are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Allegany-Limestone, they will head out on the road to face off against Randolph at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
