Clarke County was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Luray on Friday. The Eagles blew past the Bulldogs 9-2. Considering the Eagles have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Clarke County's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Luray, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8.

Coincidentally, Clarke County and Luray will both be playing Strasburg the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
