They escaped with a win against Lubbock by the margin of a single free throw, 64-63. Given Greenwood's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while Lubbock is ranked 996th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Ty Presley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. Colton Rauman was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Greenwood's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lubbock, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
