Noe Najera had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Carrillo, who rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Carrillo wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Century was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 315 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 163 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Bolsa Grande came up short against Artesia on Friday and fell 28-16.
Bolsa Grande might have lost, but man, Mikey Haley was a machine: he picked up 57 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 53 yards on only six carries. Tank Britton also helped out by tossing the rock for 252 yards.
Century's record now sits at 3-0. As for Bolsa Grande, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
