Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Jim Ned proved: they limited Jacksboro to a paltry 2.9 yards per carry. While three picked up at least six total tackles, Stone Griffon stood above the rest. He rushed for 64 yards. Jim Ned's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.8.

Meanwhile, Holliday strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Burkburnett 64-41. The Eagles pushed the score to 57-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Holliday's defensive line and their six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Cash Kirkland and Crue Harrison, who racked up four sacks between them. Harrison also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 12.
Jim Ned's record is now 3-1. As for Holliday, their record now sits at 4-0.
Jim Ned skirted past Holliday 17-15 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
