Montoya Posts Huge Game in 40-9 Victory
Keeping Belmontes company is Michael Montoya, a fellow Veterans Memorial player. He rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.

Woolery Made His Presence Known in Harlingen's 40-9 Loss
Rounding off our Top Five is Hassan Woolery of Harlingen. Woolery rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
This is the second loss in a row for Harlingen and nudges their season record down to 4-3. Woolery and Harlingen will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hanna at 7:00 p.m. on October 24th.
