Abington Heights came tearing into  Friday's  matchup with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Hazleton Area Cougars to the tune of  44-14. Given the Comets' advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Cougars are ranked 472nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Abington Heights' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Jayden Anglin led the charge by rushing for 122 yards and one  score on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nick Bradley, who threw for 149 yards and three  touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.

The Comets will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.3  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
