Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fremont). They breezed past the West Field Longhorns to the tune of 65-3 on Thursday. With the Silverwolves ahead 37-3 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Taylor Graham went supernova, rushing for 145 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards. Salesi Moa also helped out with an impressive 139 receiving yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Fremont was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 357 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Fremont didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brendan Glover, Slade Parker, and Landon Palmer picked up one apiece.
Fremont has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.2 points over those games. As for West Field, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
