If the Maui Sabers were riding high off their 60-23 takedown of the Lanai Pine Lads on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Maui was dealt a 73-38 defeat at the hands of Seabury Hall on Saturday. Maui lost against Seabury Hall in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 42-41 score last time.
Bromo Dorn was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 27 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Peterson, who scored 13 points.
Maui's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Seabury Hall, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Maui will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lahainaluna at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Seabury Hall will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Kohala at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th.
