In what's become a running theme this season, the Brethren Bobcats gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Crossroads Charter Academy 65-19 at home. The win was familiar territory for Brethren who now have three in a row.
Crossroads Charter Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Donny Guernsey, who scored nine points, and Keegan Carnes who scored six points along with four steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Crossroads Charter Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-3) when they can't control their own glass like that.
Brethren is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Crossroads Charter Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Brethren will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Marion will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Crossroads Charter Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
