Centennial put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Master's Academy Patriots as the Centennial Eagles made off with an 11-1 victory. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.
Brayden Scheumeister looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits over four innings pitched.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Gio Lopez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Alphonso Hernandez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Centennial always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Master's Academy only posted an OBP of .167.
