New Life Camp waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Heritage Leadership Academy Fletchers. That's two games straight that the Storm have won by exactly two runs.
Owen Cho spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up 13 Ks.
At the plate, Colton Haven was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those hits marked the first that he has got this season. Another player making a difference was Cole Corso, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
