Christian Fellowship's defense has only allowed 27.7 points per game this season, so Jamestown's offense will have their work cut out for Jamestown.
Christian Fellowship has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 77-16 victory over Liberty Christian Academy at home. Christian Fellowship's victory was all the more impressive since Liberty Christian Academy was averaging only 30 points allowed on the season.
Brooke Grathwohl and Ariya Barton were among the main playmakers for Christian Fellowship as the former scored 20 points along with seven steals and the latter dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten steals. That's the first time this season that Barton scored 15 or more points. Kylie Babich was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Jamestown scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 54-27 win over Tuscumbia. Given Jamestown's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while Tuscumbia is ranked 361st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Christian Fellowship's record now sits at 7-2. As for Jamestown, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.
Christian Fellowship suffered a grim 44-24 defeat to Jamestown in their previous meeting back in February. Can Christian Fellowship avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
