On Friday, Collins Hill didn't have too much breathing room in their  contest against Murray County, but they still walked away with a  53-48 win. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Collins Hill.
 Collins Hill's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Paris  Fillingame, who  scored 19 points along with six  assists. The  match was  Fillingame's fourth in a row with at least ten points.  Sabria Harris was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Collins Hill is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Murray County, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Collins Hill will finish  2023 at home by hosting Lambert at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Murray County will finish  2023 at home by hosting Ringgold at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday. Ringgold will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 226th, while Murray County is ranked 84th).
