Neuse Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They lost to the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion at home  by a   36-20 margin. The Lions were probably out for revenge after losing  47-27 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 Lila Sarant was Neuse Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted eight points.  Sarant also led the team in rebounds with nine.   Morgan Little took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
  Avery Togni had an outrageously good game for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill as she  posted 14  points and six  steals. That's the most points  Togni has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Caroline Chandler, who  put up five  points and 12  rebounds.
Neuse Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, their victory  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-10.
 Neuse Christian Academy will square off against Cristo Rey Research Triangle at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, they will take on Thales Academy Rolesville at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
