Minneapolis South won against Roosevelt/Heritage Academy on Wednesday with 81 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Minneapolis South Tigers beat the Roosevelt Teddies by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 81-73. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Roosevelt lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Calvin Peterson, who posted 25 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Obie E Esparza, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards.

Minneapolis South's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Coming up, Minneapolis South will square off against Highland Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roosevelt, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-53 win against Avail Academy on the 14th.
