The Foundation Academy Lions won the last time they faced the West Orange Warriors, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Foundation Academy strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 64-47.
Jacob Osborne was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Riley Michels was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Foundation Academy has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for West Orange, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.
Foundation Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Royals at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th. One thing working in The First Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests. As for West Orange, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Dr. Phillips presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Warriors in Florida (the Panthers are ranked 118th, while the Warriors are ranked 344th).
