The Graham-Kapowsin Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Spanaway Lake Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Graham-Kapowsin has seven straight victories, Spanaway Lake has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, Graham-Kapowsin strolled past Olympia with points to spare, taking the game 34-20. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Bears are ranked 61st).

Graham-Kapowsin will have to keep a close watch on Peyton Martin and Jericho Martin, a pair of players who had a big impact on Spanaway Lake's prior game. Peyton picked up 126 receiving yards and one score, while Jericho threw for 202 yards and one TD.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's game: Graham-Kapowsin has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 380.6 total yards per game. It's a different story for Spanaway Lake, though, as they've been averaging only 185.6 total yards. Will Graham-Kapowsin be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Sentinels flip the script?
Graham-Kapowsin didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Spanaway Lake in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 24-19 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
