Softball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Vance Charter's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Vance Charter won the last time they faced Voyager Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights blew past the Vikings 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Aubrey Puryear was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and two RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Kayleigh Morris was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Vance Charter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Voyager Academy only posted a batting average of .154.

Vance Charter is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Voyager Academy, their record now sits at 1-7.
