Dobie entered their tilt with Alvin on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   3-2 W against the Yellowjackets. This was a revenge game for the Longhorns: when they faced off against the Yellowjackets  back in March, they had to take a  2-1  defeat.
 Vanessa De La Fuente spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on five hits.
 At the plate, Dobie's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Leslie Sarduy, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  RBI. Sarduy is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.
Dobie's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Alvin, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10-1.
