Baseball Recap: Bullard Finds Home Field Redemption Against Spring Hill

There's no place like home for Bullard, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They never let Spring Hill get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Bullard, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jackson Holt was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Alderman, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Bullard hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in three consecutive matches.

Bullard has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Spring Hill fell to 3-1.

Coming up, Bullard will be taking part in a tournament against Nacogdoches at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spring Hill, they will head out to take on Gilmer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Spring Hill: 2.5, Gilmer: 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
