The Mid-Pacific Institute Owls are on the road again on Wednesday and play against the Los Alamitos Griffins at 12:00 p.m. on December 27th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Mid-Pacific Institute faced Kaimuki in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mid-Pacific Institute walked away with a 61-52 win over Kaimuki.
Logan Mason was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points. The game was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Bow, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Los Alamitos was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Saturday as they fell 75-70 to De La Salle.
Mid-Pacific Institute's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Los Alamitos, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.
