LaSalle came tearing into Saturday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tioga Indians a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Tigers have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

LaSalle pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tioga, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4.

LaSalle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-14 loss against Buckeye on the 15th. As for Tioga, they have also already played their next contest, a 17-0 victory against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville on the 15th.
