Given Milwaukee Juneau's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Purgolders are ranked 432nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Milwaukee Juneau found their leader in underclassman Dooney Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least a third of Milwaukee Juneau's points. Joesph Sims was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Milwaukee Juneau pushed their record up to 11-3 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.7 points per game. As for Washington, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
Milwaukee Juneau will head out on the road to square off against the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Washington, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Milwaukee Vincent and the Purgolders are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
