Miami East's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Phillips, who scored 14 points along with four steals. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for her. Mckayah Musselman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Miami East's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Miami East won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Anna at 7:30 p.m. on December 28th. Memorial is on the road again on Thursday and play against New Bremen at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th.
