The Queen Anne's County Lions were successful in their previous meeting against the Colonel Richardson Colonels, and they didn't afford Colonel Richardson any payback this time around. The Lions escaped with a win against Colonel Richardson by the margin of a single free throw, 62-61. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps rankings' forecast.
The victory makes it two in a row for Queen Anne's County and bumps their record up to 13-8. Colonel Richardson's defeat pushed them down to 10-8.
Queen Anne's County is on the road again on Tuesday and plays against Snow Hill. Unlike Queen Anne's County, Snow Hill will be stumbling in off of a loss. As for the Colonels, they will face off against Parkside on Tuesday. Parkside is coming in off of a close defeat (79-76 to Pocomoke).
