Adding to the longest winning streak in VI Section III (8 Man) this week, Bagdad beat Phoenix Day School for the Deaf 47-12. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Salt River took down Cibecue 54-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Alex Hill-Jimenez threw for 55 yards and ran for 150 yards during the win.
Bagdad's tony Jauregui and James Loveall led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-8 quarterback Jauregui has thrown for 1,017 yards this season, while Loveall has 17 catches for 404 yards. The Roadrunners' Eric Blount leads the league in rushing yards with 981.
Blount has rushed for 981 yards on 116 carries so far this year.
