Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Wins Going Away Against O'farrell Charter

Lincoln not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 24, 2024. They blew past the O'Farrell Charter Falcons 3-0. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory didn't come easy: O'Farrell Charter scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-18.

Reymundo Perez paced Lincoln's offense, picking up 17 kills. Perez got some help from Orlando Ruiz and his 27 assists. Ruiz and Perez didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Lincoln now has a winning record of 5-4. As for O'Farrell Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Montgomery on the 14th. As for O'Farrell Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Kearny on the 13th.
