Meanwhile, Rockville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. The matchup between Rockville and Windsor Locks wasn't particularly close, with Rockville falling 70-55. Rockville has not had much luck with Windsor Locks recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Somers' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rockville, they bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Somers couldn't quite finish off Rockville when the teams last played back in January and fell 40-37. Can Somers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
