Crest proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by nine) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the R-S Central Hilltoppers, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on six straight.

Crest's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for R-S Central, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-6.

Crest has already played their next game, a 7-3 victory against Kings Mountain on the 22nd. As for R-S Central, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Brevard at 7:00 p.m. The last three games the Blue Devils have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
