The Millsap Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Comanche Indians at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Millsap has not done well against Breckenridge recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Millsap skirted past Breckenridge 43-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Millsap has posted yet this season.
Claire Dale was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cori Ground, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Comanche can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent game on Wednesday. They blew past Peaster, posting a 63-14 win on the road. The victory was nothing new for Comanche as they're now sitting on four straight.
Millsap's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-14. As for Comanche, their win bumped their record up to 24-2.
Millsap came up short against Comanche when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 50-39. Can Millsap avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
