Grand Junction. He struck out eight batters this week.
Top honors in the league this week go to
Montrose, which finished with two wins overall, good for best in the league. The Indians beat
Durango 14-10 and
Montezuma-Cortez 14-4.
Grand Junction Central's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing ten hits and three walks to lead the league in both categories.
There were three hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. Leading the pack was Kyle Serrano, who hit .750 by going 3-for-4.
The Demons'
Jeremy Szura finished his week with seven hits, the best slugger in the league. On the season, he's hitting .433 and ranks sixth in the league with 13 hits.
Moore led
Thurston to a win on March 26, as he notched eight strikeouts to beat the Tigers, 10-0. Over five innings of work, he gave up seven hits and eight runs.
Tyler Worley drove in four runners on Saturday in Montrose's 14-10 victory over Durango. He went 2-for-4 and scored one run.
